Triangle Park is a film about the National Football League's first-ever game played in 1920 at Triangle Park in Dayton, Ohio. Premiering October 25, at Plaza Theatre in Miamisburg followed by a release on Amazon Prime Nov. 23, this locally produced film tells the story of how the beloved game of football got its start in the Gem City, just years after Dayton had recovered from the flood of 1913 and in the midst of prohibition. Acclaimed director and writer Allen Farst, a Dayton resident, interviewed the direct descendants of the 23 players, historians on the topic, and worked closely with the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio, to bring this story to life.
